Made this pot of beans the other night. Man they were good. Packed up 2 containers of leftovers for the fall. They are in the freezer and ready for a cold front to come through so I can enjoy them on the back porch with the wife and kids

It's such a a simple dish, but has always been my favorite. Yours looks delicious.

Can't go wrong with that meal. Good looking pot of grub. Got that deep rich color. That's how I like mine.

Yea I cooked these from start to finish for about 6hrs and I use lots of smoked meat. That's the only way to go in my opinion.

looks great. my Mom said i'd hate beans when i grew up because we ate so many when we were kids, but she was wrong. i still love all kinds of beans, but my favorite is Red Beans.
