We sure did go this morning. Sat at Cal point for 3 hours waiting for storm after storm after storm to pass and finally we got alittle window of clear sky to hit the lake. Wind slacked to about 10 mph from the northwest so me and father n law starting throwing suspending baits and deadly dudleys. Fished for an hour and a half before another wind storm moved us out. Got to run the Haynie got her up to 62 mph running it in a good chop. Like butter unbelievable. Caught 2 reds and father n law caught this 5 1/2 pound yellowmott.

Great job, I'm glad somebody went out today and caught.

Sent from my EVO

how does the HO take the nasty stuff compared to the baybolt?

ckinchen 03-05-2011 07:04 PM

That 250 XS you have does a great job, you are only getting a few MPH less than I get with my 300 Verado.

Nice to catch a few on a short day...

boatdriver 03-05-2011 07:13 PM

My 225 XS gets 63.9. Not much difference in the 3, just money. Hard to justify 3 or $4000 for a 4-6 mph difference. Just my thoughts.
