Fourth Week
Fourth week as non-smoker after forty years of smoking using a nicotine patch and encourgement from friends and family. Motivation: grandchildren.

Good for you ... Keep it up!!
|
That's awesome, an impressive accomplishment after any amount of years as a smoker - much less 40!! Keep it up for those grandbabys, the stress of quitting will be rewarded with more years with them, and better time spent to boot.

I'm at 4 weeks and a day. Feeling a lot better now, was a rough time those first few weeks. Congrats

Keep it up Ted. You can do it.
And just think, you don't have to listen to me ***** at ya all day in the boat now. At least about smoking. Now if I can just get you to abandon Ole Miss Get the urge any time day or night, call me and we can talk |
Thanks to all.

It took me 5 try's over 10 years using patches, pills even acupuncture. Sunflower seeds and drinking lots of water was my magic bullet. Been smoke-free for 5 years now.
Stay after it and you'll beat it. It's like an old friend but once you get past the urges you'll wonder who you ever had such a nasty habit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
