Big lake reds

Can someone point me into the right direction to get on some reds this weekend at big lake? Trying to put my dad and nephew on some. Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance

If you don't mind guerrilla fishing the crowds, head to the grand bayou weir (3rd weir south of hebert's). Cast shrimp on a 1/4 oz jig head towards the weir and retrieve just enough to keep the line taut. Bonus points for being on whatever side off the weir the water is flowing to.

Be ready to lose a lot of jig heads as the structure down there is pretty nasty.

why

why guerilla fish when there are 10?s of thousands of acres of public marsh at your disposal lol

Plenty of red fish in the marsh...& usually no boats
