[SIZE=3]Lake Calcasieu has been tough fishing due to high winds lately!!! :cry:[/SIZE]

got word of a few fish scattered down south, last year at this time was tough, i just hope things clean up before the shootout.

i will pull the shimano's out of the closet within the next week or two and go take a look see

Talked to some folks....
 

Been off a month and couldn't drop the boat in the water once due to winds and i didn't want to fight it, i talked to some guides and a few buddies around Heberts and they have been picking up some nice trout south, even seen a couple of limits on friday, i'm back to work today and wouldn't you know it, the wind laid this morning! figures...

Going to try in the morning. Will keep yall posted.

had a buddy of mine went to the lake this mourning with a guide. Said they run all over the lake and no clean water. Said the best place you could see your bait about 3". wind was still blowing pretty good. They came in and put it off till another time.:pissed:

Must be pretty bad if "W" can't put a dink....I mean trout in the boat. LOL.
