All you need is some shrimp and crab claws and you will have a good seafood gumbo!!!:*****: When I shoot Spoons I like to shoot the hens....this helps to delete their population quicker!:D For some reason our rice field lease in Kaplan has not had really any spoons. Some years we are covered with them. Bet it was fun...
|
we are thinking of only targeting spoonies tomorrow morning, we had a few others on that day, but hollywoods make the best pics lol
|

"Great Northern American Red Breasted Broad Billed Shoveler"
LOL, I love the pic. Man I loke to shoot me some Hollywoods, they just make me smile; prob cause I shoot em about 10 yards away with their feet down.
The Spoonbill is like a recently single kinda heavy chick @ O.B."s at closing time. The "Spoonbill" is not the reason you went "Hunting", but they can be a good time and a hell of a confidance booster. |

Spoonys are sometimes like Black Jacks. You knock one out of a flock and the flock
sometimes turns around and tries to land with the one you knocked down. |
