Thornwell 1/26

Very very slow this morning. U know it's not a good sign when you get out of the truck and don't hear a goose anywheres. Killed 2 specks and other than a flock that a plane jumped a little ways off that's all we saw. Thankfully they worked great and put their feet down to land and that made it not so bad. No pics of the 2 measly birds. On the way home we saw several fields with geese laying down like they was content to stay there for the day. Maybe they will move tomorrow.

Still a great hunt!!!! I would have loved to be chasing some geese this morning than being at work.

Very Slow for us today too. Nothing was flying. Had 4 start to work but they just didn't want to have anything to do with us. There was just a lack of birds today it seemed. Got excited for nothing when I saw the fog when I woke up.

I hate the fog. I hope it doesn't show it's face tomorrow

Fog again in the morning

Top Dawg 01-26-2013 04:43 PM

Ugh!

We had a bad one today too. I think I picked my calls up twice this morning. Headed to Roanoke in the morning with hopes of different results but already seeing patches of fog.
