Drive by hunt!!

swamp snorkler 11-15-2012 10:31 AM

can you creep on them?

kibb 11-15-2012 10:34 AM

Easily. But unfortunately I'm on the job in a state truck. Damn the luck.

swamp snorkler 11-15-2012 04:24 PM

Is that a dry field?

kibb 11-15-2012 06:35 PM

Yes it was. Rice stubble, no water.

papap 11-15-2012 08:01 PM

That's a small flock compare to 2&0 years ago. Remember when a flock got in a wet rice field and when they left it looked like a mud flat. You would see field over 100 acres full.

not too far from me

j.e.hagen 11-15-2012 10:31 PM

I saw 3 fields this morning like that after we hunted and it was clear why we didn't fire a shot

DeeCee 11-16-2012 04:56 AM

We hunt about a half mile from there. Killed one speck this morning. So far this season the specks are acting like snows. Staying with the big groups. Hopefully it will straighten out soon.
