GSAT

This is a Louisiana company called Globalstar. Look it up and read the past few months press releases and what they are about Then read the release that came out today after market close. Mostly look up the FCC proposal they have waiting for approval. They are offering the government 20,000 access points with this approval. There is a big push to get all schools connected to the internet regardless of their access to the web. (rural areas) They spent a billion (with a "B") dollars to replace their satellite constellation in orbit while their competitors satellites are in need of replacement. Huge advantage.

Do you own due diligence, but I think this stock will be huge. I bought a few months ago at $1.00 and been adding as i can. Closed at $1.88 today.

Also if you're not into buying the stock, check out their SPOT products on their website. Great stuff for outdoorsman and even products to track your boat, 4wheeler, vehicles, etc if it gets stolen.

southern151 01-30-2014 10:05 AM

At $1.95 now.

BassAssasin 01-30-2014 10:09 AM

crap!!! i almost picked this up last week!

redaddiction 01-30-2014 09:24 PM

It had a good run today. I actually don't want it to run up just yet. Need to accumulate more shares first. But the CEO is in New York speaking at a WiFi conference tomorrow. Lot's of Big Wigs there. It will probably continue a run next week in the wake of his comments about GSAT.

southern151 01-31-2014 10:23 AM

Bought another 100 shares this morning. Ain't much but, better than letting the money sit there and, do nothing, right?

southern151 02-03-2014 10:16 AM

It's steadily climbing this morning. Wish I had bought more of it!

redaddiction 02-03-2014 11:16 AM

It's still cheap compared to the potential it has. I'm about to sell my boat for extra funds. Lol

BassYakR 02-03-2014 11:40 AM

whats it at now?

redaddiction 02-03-2014 11:51 AM

$2.17

BassYakR 02-03-2014 12:01 PM

nice

southern151 02-03-2014 12:36 PM

$2.20

redaddiction 02-03-2014 03:29 PM

$2.26.

Didn't think it would run this much today. We still have 4th quarter results yet to come out. Which I hear will be good because they got a lot of new subscribers during that time.

redaddiction 02-03-2014 03:39 PM

Now 2.32. Rising every time I refresh my screen. Lol

redaddiction 02-18-2014 03:34 PM

Their FCC proposal is getting published into the Federal Registry tomorrow or Thursday. Should get another good bump. Then we wait on the 105 day public comment period to finish. If all goes well they can start leasing their wireless spectrum to the big boys. ATT, Verizon, Amazon, google, etc.. Billions in new revenue. I think this is going to be one of "those" stocks to brag about in a few years.

But I don't know much about stocks but I did stay at a holiday inn last night!

southern151 02-25-2014 01:59 PM

Well, it had a good jump but, it seems to be on the decline pretty heavy today.

redaddiction 02-25-2014 03:45 PM

No worries. They just applied this week to get relisted on the NASDAQ and NYSE. that's will create a whole new group of buyers which is what this stock needs.

swampman46 03-05-2014 09:54 PM

GSAT up .11 today. Nice move.

redaddiction 03-05-2014 09:58 PM

The 4th quarter conference call is Monday after the markets close. We'll see what happens then.

southern151 03-06-2014 10:36 AM

Started to buy more this morning and now I wish I would have!

My philosophy - Don't worry about the pennies missed when there are dollars coming.

I bought more earlier at $2.51. I forgot to check price at the open.
