I would like serious comments from LEO on how this would work w/ you on an open carry stop.

Had one on the dash, cause don't have a cc. And i crossed3 county lines, witch makes it legal in tx. ... keep my hands on the wheel and told him it was there loaded but not chambered, as tx law requires! Spent 30 mins in handcuffs as he went thro my truck and i told him about the same thing as above and he let me out and gave me a ticket for doing51 in a 50!! But with all the crack heads out there I can understand.

51 in a 50 is not going to stand up in court in most places. but in Tx who knows

Never had a need to. The little bit I've open carried I've never had any unpleasant run ins with LEO. Most understand the laws and are happy to see responsible citizens exercise their 2A rights.

I open carry on the way to and from a hunt. Never had an issue. Had a cop behind me at wal greens one morning on the way out, told him good morning, he said the same. Then he noticed my gun. He gave me the ol up and down look. Thoufht he was gonna give me a hard time. Asked where I was goin hunt and said good luck.

Me and my family were pulled over in Florida a few years ago, when the officer approached,I informed him I had a loaded weapon in the car and he was very cool!!

your car is an extension of your home. u can carry in your car even if u dont have ccp. ive been pulled over before and told the cop i have a gun in car and it was in glove box. he just unloaded it and sat it on seat.

It's different in tx, have to cross two county lines, or have more then(&don't quote me bet 10,000 dollars in goods)!
