Where the fish are.

Here is a rare report and some advice. I have been catching multiple limits of flounder and trout on the south bank of West Cove. The flounder are hitting white Gulp swimming mullet and the trout on top water mostly. The flounder are stacked in the cuts with a few reds and trout. The bigger trout are around the point were the pipeline hits the south bank. About 29 degrees 50' 46.18" N 93 degrees 24' 33.17" W The 2 best cuts are west from there with the far southwest one being the best. It has a small pier so its hard to miss. There have been a few trout on the north bank of West Cove but not as many as the south. Also the east bank seems to be holding no fish. I have no pics but many people are asking for help on were to fish so here ya go.

Aslo another good spot where the fish are is

Joe's Cove (not joking) I have caught trout in there this week also....

Make sure you go with High Tide

#1 on the map is good for a west , south west wind for big trout
and they have a cut that comes out of the south part of the cove and its stacked with Reds,Flounder and Trout when lots of bait gets there..
Drift this bank and you will catch trout

#2 on map is a good big trout and red spot. Fish this points with moving tides and also fish 30 to 40 yards down the rocks on the north point of the rocks. You can always catch reds here

#3 Is BIG TROUT HEAVEN.... (thank Evis for this TIP)
There has been two 9plus trout come out of this spot in the last few months with one just last week on topwater... Need high tide and beat the bank real good .... Best winds are South /South East

You will catch fish here

and also the dead middle of the cove just north of cut is a good reef that hold trout also

Good Luck
