Pond aeration

Been looking at aeration systems for my pond it's around 3/4 acre & deepest spot is 12', for an aeration system for a pond this size is around $1500 up to $3000!
I'm sure I can make one for a lot cheaper, been looking at different pumps, anyone here made one? I got some ideas just want some input to help pick my brain some more.

no but im doing the same thing at the moment......i found a sump pump at harbor frieght for like 60 bucks. i plan on mounting it to a milk crate to keep it off the bottom and piping up to a nozzle or just reduce the pipe down to make it spray. if you figure something else out be sure to let me know them things is outrageous

use the agitation pumps that go on septic systems.
then all you will need is a diffuser of some sort.

i have been using pond fountains for many years now for my business. finding the right one is the hardest part. making one can be easy if you have the right equipment. all depending on how much you wanna send or how much time you have.

Another option is a wind powered agitator... Free power

I just pieced one together . I bought gast pump ,vertex diffusers and weighted line . The whole system set me back about $750 and is as good if not better than the $1600 systems they sell
