Last day public land timber hunt
 

Left Thursday evening for a little public bow hunting. Had some buddies already at camp shooting ducks in am and deer hunting in evenings.

They had an amazing hunt Thursday morning limiting out on woodies and mallards early.

Rest of the weekend was a little slower for them but I decided to skip Sunday morning deer hunt and make a duck hunt with them. I made the right decision and we were rewarded with an awesome hunt.

Limits of woodies and close to finishing out limit on mallards. Probably could have stayed longer and got our last 3 ducks but was time to get camp cleaned and head back to the house.

I also stuck a yearling with the bow Friday afternoon. It was a great weekend at camp and we brought back plenty of wild game to cook for friends and family back home.

Doesn't get much better than cooking over a fire and spending time hunting, cooking and drinking with your buddies.

Sorry Biggun this is a yearly trip with a few friends to a family members camp so forgot to give you a call. Normally a bow hunting trip but added a little duck hunting in.

We are hunting in North Louisiana.
