Wow been fishn and crabn since Friday as the car dealersay EVERYDAY!Just finished cleaning today's catch. Birds workn at 1 st light from commissory to Mangrove weir; big group's of bird's. My intution said don't stop till I get to the boat bay@ gran.Slid up the north point@ gran anchored threw out5 drop nets.Picked up my flounder ponder tipped with shrimp first cast was a nice croaker.Grabbed my trusty boat knife and an filleted both sides and cut into small slices.Put one of the slice's on lead head and gameon 15 casts later u see the outcome.Oh Crabs were plentiful also.

Stupid! I was leary of putting my hands in the water. 10 flounder 5 dozen crabs mostly #1's. Bird's still working on way back.Stopped by out fall drain between picante weir and com. pt and smashed the reds(5) and ( 10)specks. 3 hour trip.Life is good. Sorry no pic! OK here's the Crab's.Big Daddy's!!!

Great catch! For the crabs are you talking about the round nets that lay flat on the bottom and you pull them up from one rope? That sounds like something my son would love to do.

Yes sir ! Can be very productive especially this time of year.Save your carcass Flounder or speck work real well.Don't loose many as the ole hand line.
