abu garcia black max
 

guy i work with is selling 3 brand new abu garcia reels, 2 black max and one silver max for $100 for all 3. Are these reels worth a crap?

they feel ok nothin special i only use them for fresh

For 33 bucks a reel they are great. Lower end but if they last a year it was worth it!

Yea good luck with a year, bought 2 blackmax's in a span of a year cause both crapped out. Lots of plastic parts. If you dont wanna spend a whole lot, look at the h2o express, had mine 2 years and no probs, just needs a good cleaning.

throw up 50 more and get another lews.. or that quantum you were looking at

I have two Silver Max that are close to 5yrs old and I only had problem with the anti reverse in one so I would buy that one but not sure about Black Max.

they're crap!

bought an abu revo with carbonlite rod at bass pro for 189.99 am very impressed with this set up the last 6 months

I passed on the black and silver maxxs' and ordered a curado 200e7 on eBay

New?? What it cost ya??
