Computer builders?

Does anybody on here build computers? I've got a desktop I'd like to get some things done to.

I have been planning to build a computer for a year, all I have so far is an I7-960 processor just sitting next to my current POS computer. I am tempted to sell it every now and then, but am too lazy to even do that.

I've built 4 total from ground up. Been out of the new tech scene for a couple years. Feel free to pm with questions

It probably is simple, I just don't want to deal with it. I'm going to talk to Paul today and see what he can do.

building a computer is like putting batteries in a radio, its super easy if you pay attention to what you are doing and things are made to only fit one way and you just plug them in.

the computer comes on by itself and you put the cd in and windows installs itself as you answer a few basic questions like the time zone you live in to set the clock and then you give your computer a name and tell it if you want it to use English or Swahili language. that's about all there is to it.

now picking the components is a thing you need advice with so they match together to work best but again even if you don't make the best choices to have a really fast computer its hard to go wrong even if you end up with an average speed computer because you didn't buy the best and most expensive parts for it.

my rule is you buy what was the hot cpu and video card everyone wanted last year or the year before and then put the fastest ram and max out the capacity and you will have a faster and better gaming computer then anything you can go buy at box the stores without spending more money then you should.
