my redfish on the grill recipe

ok first off i just combined a bunch of different peoples stuff and some of my own, dont want any copyright infringement lol

ok so i started by soaking the red slabs in water for about 20 minutes, while flushing.

lay out foil with 2 slabs. Add italian dressing and hot sauce along with seasoning.

in a pan on the stove put sweet onions, green onions, bell peppers, hot banana peppers, sweet banana peppers, serano peppers, and any other peppers you choose. Turn to med heat and brown down veggies in olive oil.

once done, apply to top of red fish slabs
Add mayo butter, lime juice and lemon juice Parmesan cheese
slice tomatoes and lemons thinly and place on top of everything.
Also i didnt do it but should have, put some thin sliced potatoes and carrots on it
let grille cool down for about 30 mins after lighting it.

put on grill and let sit for about 20 mins checking every 2-3 for full white color all the way through.

Serve over rice with some fried eggplant

Bon Appetite

IMO.....the lemon rind will give it a sour, bitter taste. I love the lemon flavor when cooking......just do not put slices on what I cook.

Some things [sauces] that I cook.....I use the whole lemon [except the seeds] and add a little sugar to sweeten up some.

I saw the picture on the other post....thanks.

Where are the onions......I cook everything with onions?

looks good. Try a little Cilantro on the next batch.

yak'em-n-stack'em 08-10-2009 11:18 PM

Cilantro? I've never cooked with it. What does it flavor as

Too Tall 08-11-2009 03:33 AM

its an aromatic. next time you are in the produce isle pick up a bunch and smell it. Its not a spice for everyone but I think if you broke some leaves off and laid it on top of your concoction you would like it.
