Cool front chases shrimp and bait out of the marsh

Hard north wind on Friday switched to the south on Saturday and left fishermen looking for protected banks to fish for Redfish and Speckled trout. Many of the anglers on the lake are chasing big flocks of diving seagulls showing the way to schools of trout for the taking. Rigging soft plastic baits like Hackberry Hustlers and TTF minnows on light lead heads were the answer. Quick limits of trout hit the deck for most all fishermen. Limits of Redfish taken on live shrimp have been found in the shallow water around the banks. Call toll free at 888.762.3391 and get a boat booked for a trip to the lake you won't soon forget
