corn meal, sugar, salt, an egg mixed with water and spooned into hot grease. pretty good right now, but in the morning, with some steens. oh yeah.

We take the same simple ingredients pour it into a hot well greased black iron pot let it form a brown skin then stir like ya scrambling eggs. The original Cajun breakfast cerial cush cush. That with milk, butter, a lil steens is heaven in a bowl.

to make coosh coosh the ricipe is the same mix cornmeal, salt, sugar, and a beat up egg poor water till its like batter pour into a hot well greased pot let it sit till it forms a crust. Then ya kinda stir it up like scrambled eggs. We still do it for breakfast or supper its really quick easy comfort food. The p;one I remember Daddy putting a bunch of them in his hunting sac and ate em like biscuits when hunting or trapping he fried syrup or molasses into them. They were exellent lil energy snacks.
