Thirteen Bean Soup Cajun Style
Saturday afternoon my wife and I made a quick "Andouille Run" to Bailey's in Laplace. I needed some andouille for my Cajun thirteen bean soup I was making Sunday. Still early in the cooking process but it smelling good already! My mom cooked a bean soup at the camp last weekend, man I love me some bean soup with big chunks of salt meat! But that looks awesome too with the andouille!

I sure wish this forum has a smell sensor that would send the aroma this way....awesome looking soup and sandwich. I just finished off a peanut butter and mayhaw jelly sandwich.

If asked for a recipe I always try to get it posted.
What I'm saying is if it was mandatory to post the recipe with every picture I would forget about coming here altogether. Some posts get no comments. I'd be pissed if I went through all the trouble to write a recipe to post pictures. And yes, some things I cook are just done so by sight and taste. |
