Help identifying year of Suzuki outboard

Have you tried going to there web site? They might have something on there that will tell you the year.

According to this site your motor is a 2004.

Keep in mind that outboard motor S/N keep some of the same numbers for year to year.....and make a S/N change when they modify the engine, which could be "Mid-year".
