TX rigged decoys I'm using weedeater string, but its neon green!
Anybody got another idea?

Dark green weed eater string.

Or 400 lb monofilament.

I made my own with 400# mono and 3-4 oz egg sinkers.. 3 oz is plenty for teal and 4 for big ducks... Magnums I use 5 or 6 oz..

I have purple weedeater string on mine and they don't show through the water too bad. Idk if paint would stick to that, but maybe before you string them up cut all your pieces of string and put them in a wad then hit it with some spray paint. I'm not sure if it was 400# mono, but I spent a lot of time untangling some knots in mono this teal season. That weedeater string is too stiff to really knot up

I rigged up a bunch with 200lb mono cause that's what I had laying around and didn't have any problems

I use 400lb mono that I get from SNL Corp. I've been happy with their products and service so far.
