Saw some people under 210 bridge this morning. Always yaks there, I guess because its close to the launch (if you launch from lafleur) and you can always catch there.
That's what I figured I'm gonna try it out over there once I get this cast off my leg
Other places to launch......all good fishing areas if the water is salty.
north side of I-10 [east side bank] West Lake.....about a mile north of I-10 @ the Salt water barrier I spent some time in a Yack last weekend but not the kind of boat designed for fishing......just for paddling around. No back support....for this old man. Yours looks great. |
Thanks for the info!!
congrats salty, I was at pack and paddle and academy today picking up some things for mine. I still haven't put in the water yet:(
Damn lol it's killing me!! I want to go test it out soo bad
Take a quick run down I-10 and come visit us at Kerns' Landing in Henderson and take it for a spin in our great cypress swamp. Real good fishing Too.

nice yak,

Congrats bro. WARNING!!!!! Its very addictive!!!! I have 2 now and looking at getting another one before spring. Between all the kayaks and accessories over the last 6-7 years I could have a decked out bayboat!
