while crabbing yesterday, we found a 15hp outboard on a boat launch in the bonne carre. we picked it up and are presently trying to locate an owner for it. send me an email or a pm and a full description of it, color(s), scratches, name, 2nd name and i will try to the best of my ability to get it back to you.

good deal...I always forget to check if my motor is still attached when I leave the launch!! LOL!

I'm sure it was stolen and dropped or something of that nature.

Good deal. Good for you!

Probably forgot it. Back in the day we used to load a bateau in the back of the truck & set the motor inside the boat. Betcha he took it off to load the boat in the truck & drove off, leaving the motor sitting right there:eek:

I bet that man was grateful! Most people would have just considered themselves the owner of a new motor.

You a helluva good young man!

he said he forgot it, he put his 14ft bateau in the back of his truck and put the motor on the wrong side of the truck. he said when he got it, the cover was missing, but it was there when we picked it up and as far as i remember when numbnuts was driving to baton rouge. i'm glad i was raised with morals, plus since im going to be a marine, i'm starting to hold myself to higher standards. no cussin in public, picking trash up, moving buggies out of the way at walmart...things of that nature.
