Nice....glad to see mother nature cooperated with you! Hope this is a trend leading to better bites come the beginning of March!

Sounds like winter is showing up again next week, water temps were coming up towards 53 degrees ... This cool spell may knock things back for a bit, we will see ...

I was on Toledo today. Brother in Law hung a 3 pounder and I skunked it. Couldn't find the mojo!
Still had a great time and saw 3 Bald Eagles.

Not that it matters with this cold front blowing in, but where were you in 58 degree water ? Just curious

Thanks,
Hydro

It got purty warm Saturday, that afternoon the temp got to 58. It was 50 that morning we started fishing. I was fishing a big flat with 2-3ft of water mid lake tx side. Most of are better fish were caught in the 2-3 ft range.

Sick for sure. Caught one like that one time it was as long as my 70qt ice chest it weighed a little over 7pds when I cleaned it had two little sacs of eggs that looked they would have came out of a perch. I could only imagine if that fish would have been healthy and full of eggs. Have some pics of it some where around here I'll have to look for it and post.
