Is the dog chipped? Maybe post his id # as well.

I know Bret and he has atleast $15,000 in training alone tied up in that dog. It's doubtful the dog will leave the area (4,000 acres). The dog has hunted there all its life so he will stick around the familiar area. 8 yrs ago they lost another dog I had trained on the same lease and found him sleeping in a blind 10 days later. My money is on the same thing happening with Eli.

Chris - I have a rig working in the area. I have sent the pic posted here to them and have instructed the boat captains to keep an eye out. Do you have any more pics or specific area. The rig is in Little Pecan. Also had dock dispatcher post pic up in the event a truck driver sees him. Is there anything else we can do?

Wow. Hope he finds it. Let us know if we can help

Area dog should be in is west/south side of schooner bayou bridge approx 1-1/2 miles and souh/east towards intercostal city. I am sure everyone bordering this VC lease is on the look out for him but you never know.

think it was the OP to this one that bumped it.... they even have a link on that forum to this page.

My dad told me about that dog being lost yesterday. He is also friends with the owner. Said he rented a plane and helicopter to try and locate the dog. That sucks, I had a great dog die in a boating accident on the way out hunting one morning, and i know how bad that hurt. And I've heard stories about how good this dog is. Hope he finds it!

Dogface 12-05-2013 11:56 PM

I wanted to bump this because the dog is still missing. Please pass the word around!! Thanks

Yea it's Bret's. talked to him about 7 tonight and still missing.

Sightwindow 12-06-2013 10:03 AM

All that time and money and he didn't put a chip in the dog? Is there something about the technology that would prevent him from doing it?

cgoods17 12-06-2013 10:06 AM

what good will a chip do if the dog is lost in a marsh?
