10-9-17 Calcasieu River Crappie cont to bite
 

Just got finished cleaning around 25 fish. Very very slow bite. Seem to come in 3s today. One spot caught 6-8. Couple catfish on this new hole I found made me think I had a huge white perch at first lol. Fish were deep. 14-20 feet of water todAy and tight lined all but a couple. A little cold this am but no sweat today for sure! Thinking about taking the bay boat out now. Just saw that specks are on lower part of river so may try that and then run up for some Crappie later. Idk. Have to catch up on sleep for sure. Good luck all
