Texas meat hunts/Management hunts

Guys I just got back from Texas and secured some ranches for doe/spike meat hunts as well as management hunts. Doe hunts start at $700 for 4 hunts and include lodging. Guide will bring you to blinds. Your cook your own food. This will include either 2-3 deer to harvest depending on ranch. Bring your son/daughter under 16 and pay only $100 for the weekend more. You will split the deer allowance.

Hunts will be in October and first 2 weeks in November. Ranches are mostly in Concho county or McMullen county, Texas. Also have one ranch in Dimmitt county.

Thanks,

Latt

What kind of turkey packages do you have?

LPfishnTIM 09-03-2012 09:20 PM

looks nice I'd rather spend money on that and get me a deer then spend just as much on a lease and have people disrespect you when your not there!

All of our doe hunts run about 95% success on filling your tags -- sometimes it is the weather's fault other times the hunter's fault! Some ranches are high fence so game is not going to be a problem on these ranches. They actually need to cull out some of these deer. The guy running these hunts is a biologist who works for the Texas Dept of Game. He personally manages nearly 40,000 acres of ranches.

Turkey hunts start at $750 and include 2 Toms. They are fully guided and include meals, lodging, etc. I have not finalized the turkey hunts yet but will be doing so around late November or early December.

So you pretty much gauranteed 2-3 deer for $700, that's not bad considering my father in law pays triple that between fuel, lease and license in ms and may kill 2 deer a year.

What is the license cost with this? My daughter is 24 and wants to shoot a deer, this may be her chance to see if she can and put some meat in the freezer.

Out of state Texas big game license is $300. 5 day hunt permit is $48 and can shoot exotics. I'm not sure what the license rule is on farm raised deer.

Ok, guys. Finalized entire month of October on several ranches between Brady and Eden, TX for doe/spike hunts. Hunts will be $700 and will include lodging and 3 doe/spike per hunter. You can bring your wife/daughter/son for and add'l $75 each and they can shoot off of your allotment -- limit 1 guest per paid hunter due to room restrictions. These are bow or rifle hunts and take place on either high or low fence ranches. All ranches are MLD permited so gun hunting is allowed in October. Tons of does/spikes to take off of these ranches. 3 paid hunters needed to book a hunt. Weekend or weekdays. 4 hunts total. Guides will drop you off/pick you up at blinds.
