Regardless, that is just the public lands they have done projects on. I don't believe they have only done 27 public land projects, and this list does not include Rockefeller either.

lol, I guess it would pay to finish reading your entire comment, the first time I read it I didnt see a thing about yall talking about Rockefeller.

But there is still public hunting opportunity there nonetheless. You have every opportunity to put your name in the drawings, and first time applicants have a better chance than somebody that hunted there last year.

Agreed.

Well that's usually the starting point for people around here that have just started duck hunting. I would like to know what projects have been done for ducks out there though???

Before I begin to answer this question in gonna need you to do a little reading on your own. Meaux posted a map of DU projects in the state not too far back and I listed them early on.

Just because it's a DU project doesn't mean it's huntable. DU isn't a duck blind leasing agency. It's a conservation organization. Didn't think I'd have to spell that out for ya

Funny, we're killing around twice the amount of ducks we were 15 years ago. But the ducks don't migrate down anymore. You know why they killed so may ducks in "the good ole days"? They had areas to rest birds. Now with every section of the Marshes and fields leased up the birds have no choice but to raft up on large lakes and bays. They find ways to adapt to the pressure.
