After the passing hurricane last week we were somewhat concerned about the shape of the lake and the short term catching for a while. FORGET THAT Early in the week Redfish were stacked up on the south end and you could catch em? on anything. Mid-week big numbers of flounder started showing up at the cleaning table and towards weeks end some sets of working gulls were showing the way to some Speckled Trout (on the small side) on the east bank of big lake .It will only get better Until duck season open in early November, Live bait has been available at Spicer?s and there is lots of pogy in the system.
