Black bayou

Kayaked around Black Bayou this morning. Launched around Fred's. The water was beautiful in some cuts with lots of bait also. Only managed a few small reds. Tried spinner baits, vudu under a cork, and gulp on a jighead. Only thing that worked was the spinner bait. Do any of y'all kayak this area? This was my first time.

Used to run that area often in my old boat, caught some reds once but never did too well...usually just went for a booze cruise
