Grandfathers Don't Know Everything

Grandfathers Don't
Always Know Everything...

Hunter was 4 years old and was staying with his grandfather for a few days.

He'd been playing outside with the other kids, when he came into the house and
asked, "Grandpa, what's that called when two people sleep in the same bedroom and one is on
top of the other?"

His Grandpa was a little taken aback, but he decided to tell him the truth.
"Well, Hunter, it's called sexual intercourse."

"Oh," Little Hunter said, "OK," and went back outside to play with the other kids.

A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, "Grandpa, it isn't called sexual intercourse."
"It's called Bunk Beds.
And Jimmy's mom wants to talk to you."

That's funny, I'm a Grandpa and sounds like the trouble I would get into.

LOL! Love that! I've heard other variations of that too - and it always seems to have something to do with us totally over-analyzing what kids are asking!

Reminds me of my stepdaughter back in the day when Bob Dole was doing TV commercials for "E.D." and she asked, "What's E.D.?" Oy...

After the prerequisite glance at one another meaning "WHO'S taking THAT question??" a brief explanation we said, "It's when a man's (proper biological name) doesn't work correctly."

She considered that for a second, and said. "Oh. Okay." Back to the TV.
