I know the heat has been excessive, but has anybody fished the cove lately? Might be a good time for some early morning kayaking...

It would be worth a shot on weekdays when there is little boat traffic.

it was the saltiest I've ever experienced in the bay this past Sunday. But I still haven't found a trout inside the bay yet. but one would think by the way the water looks, they have to be around. good luck.

2 weeks ago I caught fish from marsh island to the cove but only 8 keepers out of probably 40 fish caught.
