Lake Charles Tackle Stores!!!!!!

Rant/ Today is probably the 10th time in the last month or two that ive made trips to ALLLLL of our tackle stores and they have had absolutely nothing that I need!!!! how you own a tackle store in SWLA on one of the best fisheries and not stock your normal colors of Corkys, mirrodines or crazy croakers! ESPECIALLY at this time of year!!!!!! End /rant

They probably do but get sold out within a day of stocking. I know Cajun tackle can absolutely not keep ratl traps on the shelves.

BassYakR 03-07-2014 01:46 PM

if they sell out so fast why not order 3 times more..... that's what I don't understand... as a business owner if I know I can sell as many as I can get id get more and more....

But you don't know when it will quit selling and you are stuck with inventory or if it is really a hot item, your vendor may not have it either.

you go to a fishing store in the heat of summer and they have the good baits that where catching in the winter and spring still on the shelves and sold out of what they are biting on now. Instead of corkys and mirrodines they will be sold out of spooks and skitter walks.

I order most of mine online that never stays stocked up in stores....

bjhooper82 03-07-2014 05:52 PM

I understand your frustration but before I'd go two months without the baits I wanted I'd order them online.

BassYakR 03-07-2014 08:10 PM

Oh i got the baits i need... Just looking to stock up...

U can't buy enough bait's on line to deplete there stock. What really matter's is availability. With some company's special free shipping with X amount $ orders. Your way better off than the local's.

T-TOP 03-08-2014 08:12 AM

Cajun fast mart is pretty stocked up right now... Looked this morning on way to work.

They usually will order the baits you want... and place them on hold for you if you leave your cell # and name.... atleast Cajun Tackle does for me.
