Burnt out bridge

Is the launch at old hwy 90 open? thanks in advance.

Drove by yesterday. The launch is open but the canal leading to the Sabine River is blocked off. Sign says closed til 6/15/17 I think. The left side of the dock was burned through also.

yes but the canal is closed due to an oil spill.

Texas really stepped up to the plate with their Sabine launch. They even turned it into an event spot and revenue generator.
The BOB launch is much nicer than it used to be (remember how rough Old Hwy 90 was before they re-paved it??), but I guess someone is content to set the dock on fire... Very nice.

I checked on it Saturday when I launched in Orange...no signs or clean up crews were seen. It appeared to be open
