Big momma batteries?

Anybody use these? I see them at lake Charles tackle and Cajun tackle and no where else

I've always had good luck with them.

Let me give you a little school lesson on TM batteries

In my years of buying batteries from high dollar ones to cheap ones
One thing is always the same !!

2- years is about the life span of a TM battery if use regular.
I buy the deep cycle Interstate batteries that are about $80 a piece

Batteries are like TVs, there is only a hand full of companies that make batteries. Most just have different label. Like W said interstates are the most reliae choice. I get 5 years out of my 3 bank, but don't use the boat every day.

Another benefit of interstate is that if you have an issue getting your boat ready the night before or if you're out of town, there's usually a walmart open nearby to exchange or replace them

If you are in derrider call 318-443-0354 they can tell you where a dealer is. My dad owns the interstate distributorship in alexandria.

While I'm asking questions, I plan to wire 2-3 batteries parallel and install a Bigfoot trolling motor switch.. The switch comes with 10 gauge wire .. What gauge wire would be best connect batteries to each other ?

My new boat has 4 gauge wire, but it's in series to obtain 24 Volts

The wire is labeled SGT MM Marine 4gauge, 60 V DC, if your trolling motor is 12/24V your gonna be better off with a 24V setup

Where do you find them for $80? They must not be group 27s for that price
