Looks like silt

The fishing pier and facilities are earmarked for repair and renovation with some of that BP money

We call is coffee grind, it's piece of the marsh that broke up and settles along the coast with the waves.

jpeff31787 07-31-2018 02:44 PM

and that's why black is such a good color there

rardoin 07-31-2018 03:06 PM

Aw heck....just take 'em at high tide!

redaddiction 07-31-2018 03:50 PM

And I'm sure you will post a limit of reds as usual! Lol you're the redfish whisperer!

Remains of all the dead trout from the freeze!

Doubt it would take too much money to redo the sand every five to ten years but I could be wrong. The point is a weird place in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love it out that way but all the nice camps and fancy boats out there and they can't even keep a baitshop open down there or a nice store of some sort. Always made me wonder

Even like a seasonal bar and grill where you could eat after a day of fishing. Unless there's one I don't know about

the old bayview is open from what I understand. I believe someone could open seasonal and make tons if managed right.

or at least a gas pump on the water

WorldWideSportsman87 08-01-2018 12:18 PM

people are constantly trying to make something of the bayview
From what I hear the rent is high and you have to sign a 12 month
Hopefully someone will make something of it that would last
It was nice being able to stop in after a day of fishing and watch some football and drink a "Coke"

redaddiction 08-01-2018 12:43 PM

I talked to the women running the Bayview a couple weeks ago. They will have gas and will have the kitchen open shortly. They are waiting on licenses and permits etc. they are open now but just have drinks and snacks and a few grocery items etc.

WorldWideSportsman87 08-02-2018 12:18 AM

Hope she does well
Nice to know that it's open

Rjrobin2002 08-04-2018 12:39 PM

My uncle Bill Parker and aunt Janice Parker just sold it. I believe her name is Susan Felio Price.
