Dirt work recommendations?

I'm looking for some pricing to dig out a pond, use the dirt to build up a house pad, and grade it. The pad needs to be about 6 ft. high to get above base flood elevation.

I'm figuring about 2300 sqft for the house and around 1925 sqft for a shop.

Does anyone have recommendations in the Lake Charles area?

I had some work estimated last year that was very similar to what you are asking for. I beat the bushes and came to a top 3, with Arthur Lowery(337-377-7424) being at the top of that 3. His effort on the estimate, knowledge, and recommendations throughout the process exceeded all the competitors. I didn't follow through with the construction do to some land issues, but when I get some other work done on another property he'll be the first one I call. He has plenty of work in the area that you can put your eyes on for examples.

Dirt work is something you DO NOT want to skimp on, a hole in pond or a poor house pad can cause nightmares down the road(espiecially going up 6')

Give that boy of yours a shovel and tell him to get to work!
