Youth hunting a NWR
I heard a youth to had have a hunters education card to hunt the youth weekend on a NWR, but the LDWF website says you have to be at least 10 years of age for the course to count. So my question is, for a youth under 10 years old to hunt a NWR, can he/she hunt with an adult who possesses one?

As far as I know, anyone under the age of 16 can hunt without a hunter's safety card as long as he/she is in audible range of a licensed adult. Your best bet would be to call the nearest NWR office and find out from them. Warren |
