Sabine River info

Anyone been on the Sabine River around Nibletts? Any reports? Water muddy ?

Thanks In Advance

A friend of mine caught these south of Nibletts on Saturday.
He didn't mention water color or what he caught them on. The largest fish at the top is 3.48 lbs. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...a15518fb8f.jpg

Thanks for the replies, can I ask what you caught the goggle eye on?

Gonna make a short trip tomorrow, I will post results!

Them Sum Beeches love those baits! They usually take off one or both of the claws!

We caught good last week, still a little muddy.

I'm going check 'er out Sunday morning for a few. I've been fishing the Burns but these sunny bluebird days... been doing okay out there though.
It's time for some Sabine action. I haven't fished there since 11/26/16.

Screwed up and wanted to edit last post

Went yesterday. Water was chocolate milk, the current was strong and swift. I'm waiting a while before I go back.
I caught one bass and a large choupique.
The BOB launch itself is much nicer after being blacktopped. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fa65d0d803.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...30c44363e7.jpg
Here's one of those sunrise photos you post when you don't catch a lot of fish. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b69bdbb7af.jpg
