Costa Policy Rocks

I sent my Costas in to have them repaired because the lens were scratched and the arms had lost all the rubber on them. That was less than two weeks ago. I just got my a package in from Costa with a new pair of glasses for $39.99. It is nice to see that a company still has integrity in this day and age.

Don't be dogging Costa!

Big Flounder 05-04-2010 09:37 PM

Man no BS I was just telling my wife I want a pair for fathers day! Good to hear that.

Mediumheavyaction6'6 05-04-2010 09:39 PM

what happened was i was setting the hook on a bream and i scratched my glasses.

Regarding Costas repair policy - I have a pair that started developing some weird distortion in the blue mirror finish around the frames. I had already had them for about 6 months when it started and I went ahead and shipped them off anyway. About two weeks later I got them back. Brand new lenses and no charge to me. Great company, great glasses.

yak'em-n-stack'em 05-05-2010 09:54 AM

oooooooooo snap

specktator 05-05-2010 10:04 AM

if the damage to them is a defect or not your fault, it will cost u nothing most of the time. now if u break or scratch a lense, it will cost u. u pay $9.95 for a handling fee and send them in. they will look at them and email u letting u know if they will cover it or what u owe. only one out of 6 or 7 pairs sent in i actually had to pay. b/c it was my fault. i had to pay like $70 for a new lense on my Permits cause i smashed it. better than $200
