Ripping The Reds!

Great Dularge Redfish Bite!
Hungry redfish on the DU Saturday morning. Water levels were up and the reds were eating up in the ponds. I fished with Jerry Courville, Brian Deshotel, Brenson Fry, and Tony Parker from the Lafayette area. The guys chunked spinner baits, swimbaits and LSU chubs as the reds didn't seem to mind what was offered to them. They ate up everything! Brenson put on a show with the spinnerbait while the other guys caught fish on an assortment of lures. We had our 25 fished iced up by 11:15 and headed back so the guys could rest up for their bowfishing trip Sat. night with Capt John. The reds averaged anywhere between 16-30 in. The crew was a blast to fish with and it was a pleasure to fish with such an experienced crew. The reds didn't have a chance! Good luck fishing.
