Falcon Rod

If anybody is interested in a Falcon Cenderi Saltwater rod at a closeout price of $100, give Jake a call @ (918) 251-0020. This is less than 1/2 price.

These particular Falcons are made from some of the best material on the market. I have 2 of 'em but haven't used 'em yet. Definitely worth $100 tho. Bruce has one.

I then proceeded to take materials to the camp and fished all the way to the dock and in the excitement of docking the boat, I broke that one too. Took it back tp Academy and got another rod free.

I broke that one too.............

The moral of the story is......if you break your Falcon rod, Academy will replace it for free.

Uhhhh....remind me not to let you borrow any of my stuff!!!!:shaking:

Cat, I don't know exactly what they have left. They had some 7' Saltwater casting and some freshwater. Call 'em and see what they got.

My neighbor was over this afternoon lookin' at the Falcons. He went back home and got his new reel to try on the rod. It's a Daiwa Steez (sp). That's the first one I've ever seen and I'm impressed. Talk about a light combo.....5.5 oz. reel + 3.5 oz. rod. SWEET! How much them Daiwas cost?

CatDaddy 05-07-2009 09:38 PM

To dern much

Bout 450-500 dollars... 400 is cheep. thats if you buy them at the store.. mabey you can get one from someone who is sponsored by them for cheaper, but i dont know of many ppl that will let go of one to easily.. I know what you mean by being light. It almost feels like holding a toy in your hand.. i was scared to hold it to tight and break it..lol

HOLY CARP! I had no idea. I know one thing.....these Shimano Calais of mine feel like a ton o' bricks compared to that reel.

I know what you mean. I play with them everytime I see them. I want one so bad.

Ill tell you what tho, I have always been fond of the Pfleuger/Falcon low rider combo, and recently I bought me a Pleuger Summit http://www.pfluegerfishing.com/produ...oducts.php?p=2

And im EXTREMELY satisfied with it. Now keep in mind that I do more freshwater (bass) fishing with these rod and reels. If your thinking of buying a Pfleuger reel, i would go with this one....

fishinpox 05-08-2009 05:57 PM

they had dont know if they still do a steez in the bargin cave at cabelas in gonzales it was an employee demo. my buddy called diawa and they said DO NOT use this reel in saltwater. anyways it was on sale for under 300.00
