Last year the post was over $900 and a nice BBQ pit. Weigh-in we be at 2:00 that afternoon at Turtle's.

LPfishnTIM 06-09-2010 09:48 PM

sounds good, I might be attending that, just show up in the morning, pay and fish or is there a form to fill prior to tournament day. I don't fish for sac a lait much but I guess I can give it a try, using some corks and mini tube jigs. Is live bait allowed?

Just show up that morning. Artificial bait only, no live bait or just come for the festivities.

Cajun Outdoors,
I've been plannin on winning this tournament since I read the ad. in this months magazine. But then again things dont go as planned too often! I have a few questions about tourney that may also be useful to others if put on this forum instead of emailing you. What time does it kick off? When do we have to be back at dock? late penaltys? 10 fish stringer, total weight of 10 fish max? right? Do we have to have 10 fish to weigh? and what are the boundaries? Can we head down river towards butt Larose? Sorry for so many Q's but Im sure others are curious to know too. Thanks, Levi Blanchard AKA, 2010 soc au lait masters champion. lol

Leave from the landing at safe light.

When do we have to be back at dock? 2:00 PM is weigh-in.
late penaltys? DQed if late

10 fish stringer, total weight of 10 fish max? total weight wins

Do we have to have 10 fish to weigh? No, you can weigh in fewer than 10

and what are the boundaries? you can fish anywhere in between the levees.

Should be a real good turnout and a good time.

nice, I had some motor issues so I didn't go, but I did go to lake henderson and put in on the other side and just used my trolling motor, me and my buddy caught about 20 sacs, 20 bass and caught a mess of warmouth but only 4 sacalait that I caught had some size to them. the rest were itty bitty! I threw all back, except the 4 sacalait and 1 bull brim that had some size to em.
