Redfish Slam On The Du!

Too rough to make the run offshore this morning so we fished for reds. Busted up the reds at 2 locations and limited out with 20 nice fish. Ray & Melissa Stewart and Leslie & Susan Foret enjoyed their trip 'DOWN DULARGE' with the reels screaming all morning. Both couples were in their late 60's and normally fish out of Grand Isle. They were glad to get the fish caught early and beat the heat. The reds ranged from 17-30in. and were caught bottom fishing as it was easier for the crew than doing a lot of casting with artificial lures. Mrs Melissa wants to make it a monthly adventure and Mr Ray told her she better go get a job to finance the future trips! lol Good people and great fun today on the DU! Good luck fishing.
