Dularge Trout Fishing

A bumpy start this morning as it was not as calm as we would have liked it. Fishing with me today were Carol Hebert and Lydia Gonzales from Lafayette. Deadeye Chris Lake was the designated deckhand. We caught 26 nice trout at our first stop before the bite tapered off. A very finicky bite with swimbaits slow on the bottom. We picked up 5 reds and a lone trout at our second stop. 34 trout hit the floor of the big Blazer Bay at our final spot. Finished up with 60 trout and 5 reds. As usual it was a fun trip with the girls and they went home with lots of fillets. Good luck fishing.
