lost 2......
 
lost 2 trout over 5 lbs at the boat today . 1 was easy a 5lbr the other man o man i stuck it at a rig in lake bourne, it started swimmmin toward me when it surfaced it just floated up i saw 3-4 inches of its back and still didnt see any of the silver just the black back ! and the top of its head was a melon, anyways it surface and must have realized it was hooked cuz all it took was one good head shake and it spit the hook:pissed: i think all of lake bourne heard the echo uck uck ck ck ck ck :spineyes:. that same rig produce another 5 fish between 3-4.5 lbs . we didnt have the numbers today but the quality was there . i had some other buddies whowent after trout and made a long arse run but it payed off with 70 hogs!

Damn that sucks pox I no the feeling. Whats the depth of the water yall fishing over there?

7-15ft ideal is around 7-9 in the early morning the 9-15 as the day warms up . plastic slow slow slow bounced on the bottom like fishing the bridges

Had one of those days yesterday. Could not get the reds in the ice chest in the yak to save my life. Measured 4 fish at 26" and even with the lip gripper and net they got their leap to freedom. Still finished well.
