Dularge Redfish Bite Good As It Gets!

Spent a quiet 4th of July weekend at the camp with family. Enjoyed a great redfish slam on Sat morning while sleeping in on Sunday. Monday the 5th it was back to work as Walter Voorhies, his daughter Elizabeth and her friend Jordan arrived at 5:45 AM and were ready to catch reds. Thats exactly what they did as the trio caught 30 plus reds in under 3 hours! We kept our 20 fish limit and played catch & release for a while afterwards. Plenty of 16-18 in. reds at first which was followed up by 25-28in. fish later in the morning. Lots of clouds and rain all around us at times but the crew endured with everyone having a great morning on the DU. The majority of our 'trout waters' are closed by the oil spill but we have plenty redfish to catch for anyone interested. Only a 15 minute boat ride from the camp! Good luck fishing.
