Stolen boat

1 Attachment(s)
Please keep your eyes open for my 21 foot Triton Bass Boat that was stolen from my house today (7/9/10). It was some time between 10 am and 3 pm. It is maroon, white, and silver. It is on a Triton Softride trailer which is also maroon. It has a 225 Mariner (silver). It is possible the thief put the boat cover on it. The boat cover is grey. If anyone has any information on this please respond to this post or call me at (337) 257-7970 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting (337) 257-7970 end_of_the_skype_highlighting.

Thanks,
Brett

We are also thinking that it is a full size truck (possibly a dually)... it looks as if the motor was skipping as they left our driveway. They would have had to hook it straight to the bumper and not have a draw tight drop down.

It was last seen around Ridge Rd. and 343 (Richfield) in Duson, LA.

I had a co-worker who had a bay boat stolen from his car port in broad daylight,
right next to the highway just outside Lake Arthur a few years ago.
They found the boat, stripped on the side of a road a few days later. No trailer.

Will shoot this over to Bob at CommStop to post at his store there. Hope someone will pick-up on this that might be able to help. I live near there and know of a rash of things being stollen. Hell, they even tried to break into a free air compressor to get the change. Shows you the mentallity of a thief! I guess those patrols at 10 AM and 2 PM every 3 or 4 months just isn't cutting it! Bet the moron didn't take it down S. Fieldspan either because you could have trailed it to the culpret by finding the pieces that would have busted off from going down that road faster than 25 mph! I love the way our taxes are being handled! I'll definitly be looking out for your boat Brett and hope you can get some revenge on this one but the chances of that are slim. Good luck Brother.

How about a "Bait Boat" sting operation.
We don't have to burden our overcrowded jails with the culprits.
We can just take them out on an offshore fishing trip.
Five go out, four come back, just kidding.
Maybe just sting them with a load of rock salt.

SULPHITE 07-13-2010 02:37 PM

frickin' shame is what it is...sorry bastids.

That would be to good for them. Maybe add some of that Vibros (sp?) bacteria to the salt.
