oil

Went out to Belle pass today (fourchon) they have tar balls or whatever you wanna call that crap floating all over. They about the size of a corn kernel. :pissed:

Saw that at Grand Terre Island last weekend. Slight sheen with them.
None anywhere else.
We gonna be seeing tar balls for a few more years.

Barataria Bay

There's a big patch of oil in northern Barataria Bay where that wellhead got hit. Drove through some of it trying to get around the safety zone. There wasn't a single boat working on the oil in the bay. I hope this doesn't come down to the beach and screw us up again.

Sorry to hear this...that sucks about the bay and no boats working the spill..Hope you guys recover soon...looking much better over p-cola way but still have them balls washing up...and worse yet when your motor stirs up the bottom near our launch it creates a small oil slick...

What does Grande Island look like these days?
